Profile

The Master's program in Business Administration at Coburg University is based on a wide range of subjects. Students put their modules together individually and can thus decide for themselves which focus they want to have in the program. This requires a high level of responsibility and independence of the students.

The program teaches students knowledge and skills that will prepare them specifically for taking on management responsibilities. Issues regarding taking socially responsible action are a firm component of many subjects.

The choice of special subject combinations allows students to acquire detailed knowledge in specific areas.

Program focus

In the Master's program in Business Administration, students can select a subject focus area for their studies. This option is voluntary. The following focus areas are available:

To complete the focus areas successfully, students take corresponding modules. They must make up about 50 % of the entire program.

Program organization

The program is designed for three full-time semesters. Thanks to the flexible program structure, students can also gain practical experience alongside their studies. With outstanding commitment and after consulting with the academic program director, it is also possible to complete the program after two semesters. It is also possible to reduce your course load and complete the program in up to five semesters.

Practical Training

The Master's program in Business Administration at Coburg University combines theory and practice. Project work makes up about one third of the program. Here, students work on current topics that businesses and economic research are presently dealing with. Professors prepare students for the requirements – both in terms of know-how and in terms of applicable methods. It is the students’ responsibility to apply this knowledge independently, develop solutions for practice from it, and argue it's case in a discussion. Projects frequently take place in cooperation with businesses or institutions.
