In order to start your studies, a few steps are important for you now. That includes:
- activate your student user account
- get to know our student portal my campus
- familiarize yourself with the various online services of Coburg University
- learn how to print out your certification of enrollment
- get to know all the functions of your student ID

Arriving at Coburg University
Of course, we won't leave you alone when you start your studies at Coburg University. Our International Office offers an orientation week for all international students. During these exciting days we will be at your disposal and give you insight into both our university and your new home Coburg.
International students who are new in Germany first need to settle a couple of important bureaucratic matters. The International Office will gladly help you register at the city hall of Coburg and apply for a residence permit.
During this week, the students
- enroll at the university
- receive access to our computer services, including wireless network
- get information about opening a bank account
- register at the city administration
Orientation Week summer semester 2021
Because of the corona pandemic, the orientation week will take place online this year. Therefore, the International Office will upload digital orientation sessions as well as important information material on our student portal my campus. You will find the material under the point "advice and support for international students" on the site of the International Office. The presentations and materials will be available from February 25th.
