Summer School

International Guests

Coburg University has numerous international contacts. In the summer, lecturers are invited to come to Coburg with their students. They work together, discuss, get to know the town of Coburg and the university and in this way they make friendships that often last a lifetime.

In recent years, guests from nearly every continent have visited. For instance, a summer school organized by the Department of Social Work dealt with questions of human rights, inclusion and social justice. Faculty members and students from Coburg cooperated with colleagues from partner universities in Chile, India, Namibia and Russia.

Visitors from the USA, China, Australia, Italy, Great Britain and Switzerland have all taken part in our university’s International Week.
