International lectures about Positive Psychology

Scientists from the USA, Great Britain and Austria come to visit the University Coburg from 18th till 22th of July. They will present their research projects and discuss current research topics.

The Positive Psychology analyses the influence of optimism and psyche on physical health. This is the topic of the international conference organized by Professor Niko Kohls from the academic program Integrative Health Promotion.

Professor Loren Toussaint from the Luther College in Decorah, USA speaks about “Forgiving and Living: Finding Health and Happiness in a Forgiving Life”. Professor Jameson Hirsch from the East Tennessee State University will hold a lecture about “Positive Psychological Approaches to Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Promotion”.

The lectures are open for public. You can visit the lectures on Tuesday, 19th July from 9:00 – 13:15.
