A german-russian get-together

Once in a year Russian alumni who studied with a German support program meet in Russia for a conference. Coburg University and the University of Augsburg were partner of the conference this year.

Prof. Eduard Gerhardt hold a lecture about international project management. He got invited by the German-Russian-forum e.V. because of his long relationship to the University Novosibirsk.

The conference took part in the middle of October at the University Smolensk. Thirty alumni from Russia discussed international projects and established contacts to German companies.
The conference wants to promote the knowledge transfer between Russia and Germany. “An important task is also to reduce prejudices between east and west” says Prof. Gerhardt.  

The alumni are already working in Russian companies, universities or social organizations. The conference was supported by the DAAD, the German agency for the international exchange of students and researchers.
