A new president for Coburg University

Prof. Christiane Fritze was voted by the University Council as president for Coburg University. Her term starts in March 15th 2017.

Christiane Fritze was born in Meschede (North Rhine-Westphalia) in 1967. She studied and graduated at the Technical University Clausthal. Afterwards she worked many years for the BMW group.
Since 2003 Christiane Fritze is professor at the Munich University. From 2008 till 2016 she was also Vice President in the field of research and scientific offspring.
“I am very happy about the clear election result. I hope I will be a good president for Coburg University” declares Prof. Fritze after the election.
Christiane Fritze will now be appointed by the ministry of education, cultural affairs, research and art. Her term takes five years at Coburg University.
